What Gives?

Im killing mission targets....

Im getting credits for killing them...

Im getting comms from friendly AI about all the kills Im getting...

and the number never goes down! what gives!

Did you recently complete a different massacre mission? Theres a bug where the previous mission steals the kill credit sometimes.

If you have multiple massacre missions where the target is the same faction, sometimes kills will apply to all missions, sometimes not. Check them all and see which mission is affected.

Actually, let me clarify. Let's say you have three missions to massacre pirates from the "Forum Whingers Faction". One mission is to kill 2, one is to kill 4 and the other is to kill 3.

Then, you get two other missions - kill the known pirate "Sir Whingealot" from the "Forum Whingers Factions", and kill the known pirate "King Whinger" from the same.

You kill the first pirate, check your missions and you'll see the numbers are 0/2, 1/4 and 0/3.

Then, you kill the second and see your missions are 1/2, 1/4 an 0/3. Or some other mixture.

Or are you in a combat zone during a civil war? You need to join a faction for the kills to count.

If you stack them from the same source, you have to fill each quota separately. If you stack missions from different sources, each kill counts for each mission.

Thanks for clarifying that... I always wondered. In the future, I'll make sure to stack massacre missions from multiple sources instead of the same source.
