Massacre missions now have mission POIs?

Took a couple of massacre missions.
Not usually keen but these were paying Cr25m a pop.
Even so, I don't really like schlepping around nav-bouys and RES's or just cruising around a system, looking for targets.

Jumped into the target system and there's a mission-critical POI!

Dropped in and there's a dozen or so ships from the target faction just cruising around.
Shot a bunch of them and then the survivors jumped out.
Hoovered up the mat's, jumped out and... the POI is still there!
Jump back in.
Rinse & repeat.

Cr25m in about 5 minutes! :O

They were a thing before too, but you had to scan the nav beacon and they disappeared after use. And they didn't have that many baddies in them.
 
Oh, I forgot to mention, the ships in the POI's aren't even winged-up.

They all just fly around, oblivious, and you can pick 'em off one at a time.

I did a couple of these in Beta and found the same thing. The bit that got me laughing is these missions are proof there is no honour against thieves (well baddies anyway) because I would be blowing one up and the rest are still just flying around the POI, oblivious that I am decimating their brethren :D
 
There seems to be a bug where the state of POIs isn't persistent atm, don't rely on it too much this will probably be patched.
 
Bad thing is that instead of rising dificulties in fighting out there FD will nerf it whenever some *strane people* start cry about that some people do too much money and have fun.

You can't have too much fun and too much money. You have to go do boring bus in ROBIGO!
 
these where present earlier too, but once you have had visit one they would spawn at another location, not like how they behave currently, I guess this is an unforeseen feature of the new way signal sources works...
 
Others have mentioned... but they always had poi... you just didn't get them via honking and the chance they spawned was broken. Now that mission USS are immediately visible, they are much more viable.
 
Did one of these last night. Easy money and ranking for the NPC crew but not particularly satisfying. The term "fish in a barrel" comes to mind. Think I will go back to CNBs now that the "mission target not flagged" bug seems to have been fixed.

You always have an option to poke several of them to make situation a little hairier for a moment.[noob]

As for me this is a good change. I have an 30mCr missions suggested for about 60 pirates and threat 4 mission POI, need to check them.
