How is it possible to rack up a 530 MILLION credit bounty? I was in a system and looked at the list and there were several people with more than 100M and one guy with 530M. Is that for real, or a glitch? If it's real, has anyone ever hunted down someone with a bounty that large and tried to collect it?

There's an exploit (or atleast a faulty game mechanic) that people have been using to rack up huge bounties to sell for real money. There was a server fix deployed today to limit bounties to a cap of 1million and to correct the game mechanic that generated the bounties.

That's really interesting...so I guess you and a friend just run up really high bounties and get your buddy to shoot you down...then you he does the same for you...hmmm

pretty much just like stat boosting in any other game except for CR. glad they took action on it- i would like to see them get even more hardline and make it a Terms of service violation that gets your CMDR's assets and CR reset on first violation and perhaps banned (would have to re-buy the game) after the 3rd infraction
