Massive influence dip and recovery

3 day screen cap from Inara of my home system

I've seen this in other system from time to time. a massive influence drop for all factions down to near 0 then everything back to normal. I had the fortune of being in system during this one and I couldn't see any effects of this in game. Is this an error in reporting on INARA's side? What is happening here?

The game occasionally reports 0%, usuallly for the controlling faction. I guess the api reports the same and it gets picked up occasionally.
