Community Goal Master Chefs!

On the 9th a community goal will start where we have to move large quantities of Aganippe Rush from NOTI to Wolf 1301 if we move enough the Aganippe Rush the Master Chefs will become a rare commodity! Master Chef being an obvious refference to Master Chief, and possibly the TV show Master Chef but I don't watch that so I can't say.

Be ready with your T9's the 9th!'

Master Chefs are selected based on genetic markers that tend to favour an aptitude for the gourmet. Little is known about them except that they are kidnapped as children and then trained under mysterious conditions to bring out their genetic cooking potential. The use of Master Chefs is illegal in most Federal and Alliance systems, but is regarded as a sign of high status in many Imperial systems. Many anti-slavery protest groups have tried to free Master Chefs from their life of culinary bondage, yet due to their training, most return of their own free will to serve. Theirs is a life of servitude - they know nothing but to cook.

Heh, I don't know. My friend told me about it thought I would inform people since it is soon. I did have this thought in the back of mind, ''If he is trolling me I will chase him to Sag A* and push him into Sag A*''

I'm not saying the reddit post isn't legitimate - I just think it's pretty lame that it's not been mentioned anywhere else (that I can tell).

You'd think there'd also be an official thread *here* about it. Not everyone goes to reddit!

Maybe it will be in the Newsletter or Dev Update this week...

I thought you had Typoed your subject until I read the post! lol!

I have been waiting for news on our first Community Goal with the XB1. I must say that this is a totally bizarre mission and mission goal, but I am totally up for it! Will pull my TradeConda out of Mothballs and plan to head to the CG zone for staging tomorrow night.

Looks like I am about 160 Ly away from the NOTI system from my home base in the Herthans system. Not too bad a trip with my Conda's jump range.

I only hope that this CG is scaled properly to give us a realistic chance at meeting the requirements! That one that slipped out during beta left a bad taste in everyone's mouth who participated! My self included! (I was the #4 ranked contributor on the medicine cargo side)

Lots of money!

Only problem is... If the BB server is still down like it has been today, none of us will be able to accept these CGs since the BB is where you pick them up at the system hosting the event (s).

We WILL need a healthy Bulletin Board Server for this. Otherwise it will be a nightmare, and I for one will definitely pass.

Good point!

Our first CG won't be very successful if people can't use the BB properly...

Very excited about this event. Should be a great time Eveyone play nice at our home. If anyone starts trouble we will bring the full might of e.x.o down upon you. Fair warning. Fly dangerous and lets those cooks in our galleys.

Done! Already had to make some changes as my friend was very vague and some of the info he gave me was also wrong.
