Matchmaking still broken

Anyone else having problems finding their friends in space?

I was playing in a private group with one other person last night, and while we were together for a while, at one point I docked at a station and he remained in supercruise. When I later launched and went back into supercruise, I couldn't find him. We hyperspaced to several other systems, but at no point did we see each other in the same instance. I restarted the game about four times, and eventually found him again!

Slightly concerned that we're less than a week from launch and I still can't reliably be put in the same instance as the only other person in my private group!

Private Group is Solo play with friends.

Basically Group leader will be "hosting" for the rest of the guys. What happens is, everyone is dependent on their own connection and if they happen to have horrible ping to the private group leader they won't be seen anywhere but their own "solo" universe.

BEST way to play with friends at the moment, and DO make sure you guys all are in the same continent at the very least is to go Open Play and find each other somewhere. You won't have flight aids or radar green icons but you can fly together with no issues if you use TS, Vent, Voip, etc.
