Or

Well, AKSHUALLY you're failing to take into account the time spent on the mission, the time spent building the kit to do that, the time spent going to the shop to buy groceries so you could eat before playing the game and the time spent leading a fulfilling life of not prostrating yourself before the altar of the HGE. If you did that, you'd find yourself to be wrong.

Sorry, just filling the role of the usual responses. It's funny.... these threads always go:
Me: don't do HGEs, there's better ways to get mats
Others: no! Youre wrong! HGEs are much faster
Me: ok. So HGEs are fastest
Different others: No! You're wrong! There's other ways that are faster
Me:.....

I don't care for the math much anymore... all i know is 60 G5s and 100 G4s an hour was apparently "too slow" for HGE reloggers
Before the change both mission rewards and HGEs required cross trading to something useful. You could fill up your bin at a HGE but you'd only get 14 of the mats you actually wanted after trading. That hasn't altered.
With the missions, cross trading 20 results in being 5x slower though after the change you can now get the mats you want directly without trading effectively increasing the reward 6x. So the missions are more effective per job, (and far more interesting).

The right mission still needs to be found, and then still needs to be completed and turned in.
And HGEs are available in almost any system and often double (2 materials).

You really must get rid of that radical attitude by suggesting stuff can be gained by actually playing the game, it detracts from the criticism considerably! 😤 :ROFLMAO:

I preferred visiting all the HGEs before the change to being ordered about by a mission, missions now paying much more is not going to change that.
Land missions require me to climb out of my ship and drag myself to the port :(
Normal missions are even worse, they require me to get out of my FC.

Yeh!
3-6 was ok, 6-8 could be good, but 30-60 just break everything.
Why then we can't have the free engineering? Remove materials so no need to "grind" even for 5 minutes per year.

FDev is doing some strange decisions.

IMHO Mats for creds could solve everything.
I'm ok with the changes, but fully agree with mats for credits, and/or just being able to trade them with other players directly.

I see you too are a fellow Fleet Carrier operator that likes to sit in the Captain's chair and watch smugglers get blown up as a past time.
Not really. After I collected all my suits and hand weapons a long time ago I noticed that I stopped doing missions in the game altogether.
AH war, mining, research, fighting in regular CZ and many other things don't require you to do any missions. It's convenient having your own FC.
