Yes but, for example, I have everything except Platinum ignored from previous sessions, for whatever reason. I don't like wasting limpets and having to babysit the refineries. The thought of having to inspect each individual rock in Contacts is just too much "work" for me. I just want a few chill VR hours amongst the asteroids to unwind. A simple checklist in the Inventory screen somewhere would suffice. Mining is supposed to be a major ED activity. Making us do this ridiculous and unnecessary busy work after all these years is downright evil. When your mat storage is full they should be automatically ignored. When it's not full they should clear automatically. This feature seems more important for refinery items and other floating space things than mats. It's tedious with a contact list that keeps jumping around.
I also don't care at all to know my limpet doesn't have a target because there's nothing I can do about it (except not fire off more limpets).
I suppose one could always have a look at the contacts list before deploying collector limpets.I don’t see the need to one click reset the entire ignore list that it has taken me ages to compile.
Now a one click method of putting all cargo and fragments onto the ignore list so I can then select only the ones I want when I find them would be good, or even have the game start with everything set to ignore.
Obviously this isn’t needed for materials as they autoignore as soon as your storage is full.
I always do, while if there are only one or two materials I'm interested in, I don't bother wasting a limpet on it and pick it up manuallyI suppose one could always have a look at the contacts list before deploying collector limpets.
I will take any material if I bother to take anything, if it turns out not to be something I might need directly it will be something I can trade for something I want or that I might need in the future.I always do, while if there are only one or two materials I'm interested in, I don't bother wasting a limpet on it and pick it up manually...
(While in particular when I go bounty hunting, I don't bother with cargo space or limpets, picking up an useful materials manually anyway, really I only use collector limpets when mining now actually!
It's really easy to pick up just what you want with the cargo scoop and not bother using limpets, unless you're mining etc as said...
While when you do check the contracts list and there's nothing you want, leave it all and get on to generating/finding more desirable materials, however you found the "junk" ones
