Maverick suit torchlight not working for anyone else?

I have a mission to restart a settlement, it's pitch black inside and my Maverick suit light displays the on icon, but no light. The other suits lights work fine.. am I doing something wrong? or is this a new issue?

Yep, aint working for me either. Tried to salvage on a dead settlement but it was pitch black and my Light didnt work so i had to leave again.

From Hamilton Gateway in the Wolf 406 system. I'm sure you will find it if you jump to a few stations.. if you have access to Shinrarta Dezhra, then you can buy all suits and weapons from there.

No torchlight on my suit either. It seems to be related to the backpack, where the torch is located. The Maverick doesn't have one, at least not after changing the skin.

Edit: Just tried messing with the skins and the teal skin seems to be the one with the issue. Selecting it in customization you see the backpack but when you exit and check loadouts the backpack is gone. Switching to the other skins brings the backpack back permanently and the torch works.

Hmm, there was an issue in alpha when the torch would disappear until a relog. I had hoped it would be fixed, but people were more concerned about trash on the floor... So I hope it is just the cosmetics :)

I guess this could be intended so that once you unlock Night Vision on your suit you can ignore the flashlight - but then it needs a big warning THIS WILL STOP YOU USING THE FLASHLIGHT in outfitting.
