No updates for at least 4 weeks as that risks breaking the II event thats running... Thats the reason they pushed out updates as fast as they did as they needed to fix the systems needed for this II event they allready had planned... and they could not delay it as PFC whould be released then after it..
releasing PFC update before the II will completely change the Cargo CGs..

If the new II runs for four weeks that is, the first part ends tomorow and the pfc could be late december.
You're right not to expect a new patch for at least two weeks imho.
At least the game is playable again but I realy hope they won't stop bringing out patches like they did after previous updates.

Consoles updates have to still be sanctioned by Microsoft and SIE that takes up the extra weeks... theres delays currently at microsoft.. (other devs are complianing about it for other titles..)

I read somewhere that patches don't go through the extensive approval period as updates do.
A patch usually takes a couple days while an update can take weeks.
That article was about Xbox only though, I don't know anything about how things work for the ps4.

It's okay if it takes a bit longer untill the next patch arrives, as long as the patches just keep coming and they don't put a halt to it.

THIS is one of those rare times that I will agree that console (politics) holds back progress on PC.
