A lot of drama would had been avoided if Solo was the first button in the line
So I tried Open yesterday for two runs. It was ok I guess, saw one suspicious CMDR contact in a sytem en route, but easily avoided. Saw two ships stacked on top of eachother in a slot, but managed to squeeze by. Tagged on just behind one CMDR after failing to jump the line.
Had some weird behaviour in one of the slots (possibly a shipbehind med tryingto push past).
And at one time there was a laser show as I departed Oterma, but nothing that involved me.
In solo however, NPC are more predictable in the mail slot and jumping the queue (if there even is one) is much easier.
Of course, it just takes one ganker wing (they hardly ever travel alone in their maxed out war ships, as they are afraid of people coming for them as they prey on unarmed freighters), to blow up ten trips worth of profits and set you back ten minutes as you lose that cargo. So it is not worth the risk for the odd chance of seeing another ship with CMDR in the pilots name.
