Maximizing Wing Missions?

Its no secret that the payouts on Wing missions make absolutely no sense. Might as well take advantage of this stupidty...

- I know it doesn't matter how many folks are in a wing. We each get the FULL payout.

- I know it doesn't matter how much cargo an individual wing member carries (even 0). We all get paid just the same. (I actually support this as some may fly as escorts)

- I know that I can accept and run MULTIPLE wing missions SOLO and AT THE SAME TIME. (I have done this)

so...

If I have a friend wing up with me at a particular location, and we both cherry-pick our individual missions boards, can we both run missions individually and completely oblivious to the other CMDR, and still have the payouts also given to/from the "other" CMDR?

IOW: Can we BOTH run wing missions in SOLO and ALSO accumulate payouts from the other CMDR (at the same time) while never actually participating in the other CMDR's missions? ...assuming we are winged up during the process?

Note that these would be all be "Personal Shopper" missions (Find and Return) originating from the same station... Just a matter of winging up and doing your own thing...


Has anybody done this?

I'm running a lot of Wing missions solo, and I have a friend who is running a lot of wing missions solo, so we might as well wing up and double our money. Both have large ships. We also get the benefit of being able to cherry-pick two different mission boards, right?

It tells you in the game, you can only share one mission at a time.

What my wife and I do is private group, meet up at the payout station, then share and close one mission at a time. Of course, we are usually doing the missions together, but pirate massacres take a while...

Yes. You can individually accept missions and do them, but dont complete them yet. Later you can wing up and share one mission at a time and complete it.
