Any chance of some sort of flare type munition (a light beacon or something) that could be deployed through a chaff launcher or the like.

It would be nice to light up some of those dark places in the game, especially pitch black belts.

I would prefer a very visible sensor ping, accompanied by a bright flash from the ship.

Currently it's difficult to communicate your specific location when you and your wingman are spread out in an RES.
