Maybe we shouldn't get a bounty for attacking fighters that are wanted before our sensors show they are wanted...
You all know the story. You're hanging out at the nav beacon playing with your fighter when you get a boast message. You orient yourself and lock on to the guy bragging about taking your cargo, but mistakenly attack a split second before your sensors come back that the enemy is wanted. You get a bounty and suddenly it's open season on you. I don't think you should get punished for attacking a bad guy before the sensors catch up to the reality of the situation.
Edit: I have fighters on the brain. Title should say "for attacking enemy ships" not just fighters.
