So this is my third zoo and my most successful so far. I mentioned some time ago that I've come to a point where I have over 3 million and I wanted to redo my zoo since I have no financial limitations.
I have closed my zoo and started renovating! I wanted to do a "couple small changes" and it turned into a huge project! But I'm enjoying it.
Here is my entrance. Now, I'm really proud of this entrance because usually I build them but they are very lackluster and this is the first one I'm really happy about!
Here is my improved nile monitor habitat with an underwater and above viewing area. It's small but I like it! I really struggled with the building here because it's not even, but I finally managed to make it look okay. And of course as I'm talking about "even" I notice there's a piece of roof that's uneven! Oops! Need to fix that.
I made sort of a glass/green house for my komodo dragons. It's my first glass dome like building. I've seen so many of different dome builds on Youtube that I thought I'd try it out. I've left a hole at the top so I can put big palm trees there.
This is what I envisioned - you buy your tickets and you make your way under the arch entrance and you are greeted by a flock of...FLAMINGOS! Null fences all around and a lowered terrain so guests can get a great view. The flamingos can rest and hide in the big shelter that's connected to my main staff center.
And last (for now) but not least, my improved bengal tiger viewing gallery. I've made no changed to my tigers' habitat because I think it looks pretty great (might adjust their palace where they sleep), but the viewing platform really needed some work. So this is what I have so far - I still need a roof and some detailing. I even made safety bars so guests don't fall over!
Though some could "accidentally slip".
Yeah I'm looking at you Mr.-I-guess-the-view-is-okay.
