Not too common to see that happen in the shipyard, eh? Yep, it's actually happening! Mckee Ring at the GD 219 system is selling flyable Orcas for 48 million credits. Just when we all thought Orcas were only flyable by NPC's!

but iv'e never seen people flying them, and saw many forum posts saying they were only for npc's

Nah, you don't see people flying them because there's absolutely no role that it fills currently.
I bought one a couple of days ago from Meliontit. Absolutely beautiful craft, really fun to fly. Great speed, decent handling... but I cut my profits by about 30% and couldn't afford an A5 FSD in it. so I'll wait around. I've gone back to the clipper for a while to build up some capital so I can actually do stuff in it.
They exist. They're flyable. They're on the wiki and everything.
Edit: In those two days, I received about 9 comms from commanders saying "You're the first commander I've SEEN in one of those". They're fun, but they're not any kind of upgrade.
Orcas are sold be a lot of H-Tech stations. And people don't fly them because Orca has small cargo hold, absolutely the worst placement of hard points, plus, there is a problem that you cant fit certain modules(don't remember exactly). Until passenger lines are implemented the ship is useless.
Plus the sound is pleasant only at the beginning then it gets annoying especially the difference between cursing sound and acceleration sound.
