Horizons Me camera has stopped working. WHY?

Well, that's a ...... , here I am cruising in Distance Worlds 2, taking the odd happy snap, posing others, all going good and looking at the snaps at the end of the day.
Blow me down, go to check today's snaps over the last 1000 light years and there is nothing new in the folder.

WHY has my camera stopped, any one else having this problem, just happened overnight.

I am not going back and to go forward without the ability of taking any more great photos.....well.

My S/Shots are working. I also use Screen Shot Changer which converts the bmp files to png ones. (Saves a lot of disc space without reducing the quality.) It can also play a wav file when done for confirmation.

Maybe setting it up will help finding the fault.
