From Launch Day to yesterday afternoon, I took a life into trading. Making scraps of credits here and there with my sidewinder. Made enough to feel safe with insurance for my Freagle and to outfit it with 3 Gimbaled Multi canons, and thought, why not take a stab at bounty hunting? Went to a Nav Beacon, and started picking on little wanted sidewinders. One of them got in a last a word before his death and claimed his boss wont like this. Meh, i thought, not worried about threats from NPCs. a minute later, a ship warps into view.

Anaconda Has deployed hardpoints. Incoming missile! I evaded luckily. He chased me down, i tried warping, but it was hardly charging with him behind and the other ships in front. I chose a warrior's death, and faced him head, unloading everything i had. Fortunately for me, I've learned some moves during my travels, Evaded some of his fire, though still slicing my shields like a hot butter knife. I take his shields down too, 4 reloads later. All the while 3 Authority vessels stationary around my ship scanning... "Thank you for your cooperation commander, be about your business" GEE THANKS!!! I CAN FINALLY GO BACK TO DYING!
Eventually they deployed their hardpoints and began helping with my struggle. The Authority Vessels tanking the beast, while I'm dealing with only one laser beam, instead of his flack canons and multi-canons. I pelt him from a far with my armor piercing rounds, every now and then drawing his full undivided attention, and me in full reverse firing away, screaming like a little girl. This Pattern proceeded for a good 15 minutes. Until finally, his shields are back down.... 6% hull integrity... I have 1 full clip of ammo for each of my guns.... The last authority Vessel has popped... He sets his sights on me...
Im in full reverse mode now. Trying to dodge the beams and flak, unloading the last of my rounds, and im now half empty. I kick it into high gear, boosting forward, firing, Kamikaze style, head on with the beast. I'm aiming for his nose, hoping to take us both out. I nosed up by accident, throttled down, but scraped up the hull of his ship with my belly and slamming into his cockpit nose first. He took 3% damage from the scraping and slamming into his cockpit. My shields are gone, ive lost most of my hull from the stunt, and am now face to face with his cockpit and mine. I Unload the last of my rounds onto the pilot, all the while an NPC Bounty hunter joined the fray and slammed a missile into his side, taking him out once and for all. My ship engulfed in the magnificent explosion, and in my Info screen, is a 140K bounty reward.
