Meanderer, a free-form exploration log.

Oh, I rather prefer the look of modern Mars. :p

And now I'm imagining Nadia as a meerkat with a harried Sax sidekick.
I would pay to see Sax driving an earth-mover during the Underhill years. Maybe we can get a spinoff after they make into a television show? "The misadventure of Saxifrage and Co."

being able to place the jumprange visualization at a point that isn't your current location

If you place your cursor on a system the stars that get the little orange hat are the ones you'd be able to jump to if you were there. The in-range hat also appears to respect your current fuel/cargo weight when calculating your range.

(Being able to ask for the spider web to be drawn from an arbitrary point would be nice too, but realising the meaning of the hat was a big help for me trying to pick my way round the far side of the galaxy and looking for where I could get across an unplottable gap by doing it manually on half a tank)

Very interesting. Thank you kindly for the advice, I'll be using it when I get back to it. Do you happen to know if it also takes into consideration FSD boosts? I'm thinking it should, but you never know.

I don't know about FSD boosts, I've been in the black since September so I've not had a chance to play with those yet...

Took me five minutes to rub the tired out of my eyes, but I noticed the hats you were referring to. I can confirm that systems do get them, you just need to select FSD boost in the nav panel; where you normally set fastest or economic routing. It also appears to adjust based on what level of FSD boost you set it to, so just like the Cargo Mass slider.
I feel silly for having ignored these little caps for so long.
