Media Player Question

Having confirmed it isn't a thing right now...

Would be nice to be able to use the media player (right hand panel) for playing personal playlists (either local media files or by streaming such as podcasts etc.)
I know we can do this with other programmes, but since Elite already has a media player, it would be good immersion to have it controlled from the ship.

Perhaps also a "forum salt" bobblehead, but that's just a bit of silliness.

I raised this some time ago, so agree.

With the advent of galnet audio and now with the codex entries being read out I hope that they will extend this to being a general media player.

Ah, I didn't intend to duplicate, though I guess extra requests might be additive.

I'd queried it in the help section and it was suggested I add it here as a feature request. Glad to see I'm not the only one thinking about it.

I guess it would help the audio drivers to only have one source of data (already processed through the middleware), but I am not an expert in how these things work.
