Medium Landing Pads...Why oh why?

Why do medium pads lower all the way down and the blast shields only lower when you are turned round? The small and large pads launch much much faster.

Is it a bug or as intended?

It's only a small thing but really does my head in.

yeah medium pads are a pain, a docking computer solved my issues but then others may wish to retain manual docking for the sake of immersion. They need a redesign

More to the point........In a station they have to turn you around to point at the letterbox. Why do they need to turn you round at all on an outpost???

Enter the hanger while doing business. Return to surface when finishing business. By the time you're done, hopefully the flaps will be down.

It's a bug and has to be worked on. There is no way this is working as intended.

Also: Please remove blast shields. They don't make sense. VTOL doesn't need blast shields.

This was very annoying, when I switched from Type 7 to Python.
Well, after few weeks, I can live with it. But still can`t understand, why undocking medium is so slower as undocking large pad.

Indeed. Also why do they have frosted glass on the toilet windows on aeroplanes? who is going to look in?
