'Medium turrets may not fire in certain ship configurations': pls clarify

from the bug forum: Medium turrets may not fire in certain ship configurations
need details for this, because of reasons.
;)

using the following setup on my annie:

3x large burst turrets
2x medium pulse turrets
2x small beam turrets

the medium pulse don't fire at all, the others working as intended.

can someone clarify if there are setups that WILL work with the medium turrets on an annie?
if they don't work at all, i would sacrifice them for maxing jump range.

I think, that it is because medium turrets can't get full movement in the slot you placed them in? they need to be able to turn all the way around maybe slot prevents it? could you post a picture from outfitter of said pulse turret in its slot?
 
As far as I know, it's the Class 2 Pulse Laser Turrets that suffer from these distinct problems.
Either they fail to open fire at all, cease fire after some time successfully engaging enemies, cease fire after selecting another Target or cease fire after temporarily retracting and re-deploying Hardpoints. What specific type of failure they'll suffer also appears to depend on Ship Type they're equipped on.

At least as I am aware of, other Turret Classes and -Types do work as good (or bad) as they are designed to do.
So other than their many other shortcomings, bugs and failures - your Weapon setup should work for as long as you remove and replace those Class 2 Pulse Turrets with something (anything) else.

I concur, however today I went out RESSING and magically my 2x 2 F Pulse Turrets that are fitted to my Viper WORKED!!!! I changed nothing....
Maybe tomoz they won't work.....
