Bang for the buck, it's one of the best ships in the game for players to get into early on.

Oh it certainly is a high value ship. I definitely made use of it early on (and once or twice since), but I never really liked how it flies, or its hardpoint placement. Now that I have the credits to fly what I want, I rarely feel compelled to bust out a cobra again.
