Meerkats famously have sentries that like to get as high as possible to watch out for danger and alert the colony. It would be great if they could climb in the game so we can give them small trees and lookout towers.

Aw, where have you worked with them? I love all the imaginative enrichment ideas that zookeepers and other animal carers come up with!
Some sort of dead branch/lookout would be great (and usable as decor)
There are already a couple of dead / broken trees that could be used, but they aren't from Africa so yeah, more of those and the climbing animations would be * chef's kiss *
I tried to make one in my sandcastle habitat but they couldn't climb up it
Yeah but we need more dead branches that don’t count towards plant coverage imo so a new enrichment item would be awesome
Spot on, that would be great. Again there are some small branches and one large log in the climbing enrichment, but a tree like the broken ipe or cherry blossom would be soooo good
My guess is that as the game got bigger, each new enrichment item became so much more work because they'd have to create the animations for every animal that could use it.
But damn those are good ideas. An enrichment focus for a free update would be ideal at this point.
Dallas zoo and Omaha zoo! We liked putting crickets in various things because they would run around to get the crickets and get a little exercise lol.
I’ve never seen enrichment in that first photo before. That looks really cool and easy to make.
