I tried to meet up with my buddy today so we could go pirate hunting together. We both headed to a particular system and whilst in super cruise began looking for each other. Cycling ships I found only NPCs. Well... ok we only have a chance of meeting each other in match making but no ammount of logging-relogging would match make us together. Shame.
I don't want to go into Private group as we like to see other commanders (the 1 I see per few hours that is) but I would like to be put in the same instance as my buddy in open play.
Nopw I don't know how the match making is working, but... I play more than my friend to I am currently rank Novice in combat and he is probably Harmless still. So I guess that it won't allow us in teh same instance because of that difference. But why? we're friends and probably the only people in that sector (it's in the middle of nowhere).
Can we have the ability to create groups who can roam open play where they go into the tier of the highest in the group (if that is indeed how it works). We had to eventually end up individually hunting pirates in the same sector and just sharing our experiences over skype. It was still fun but not nearly as fun as pirate hunting together.
