Do you mean the places of interest (like, for example, "Labirinto") between the official waypoints (like Omega)?
In my case, we mostly arranged something on the fly by asking around in system chat if someone was already at a certain place on a planetary surface, and then either winged each other in or just used coordinates. There's almost always some Commanders around when you get to the underway places of interest, and it's a nice opportunity to meet some other ships.

Yes, that was what I meant. Ok, so we go by "there's 10k of us, you're bound to meet someone".
You can also use the Discord chat to ask around whether anyone is interested in meeting at such-and-such a spot.
