I don't think it is Xiphactinus. In the video, it's enormous. It's definitely a Megalodon.Another possible candidate...

It says its Shonisaurus.I really am looking forward to this creature pack. I wonder what species the Ichthyosaur is? I'm hoping a nice update comes alongside it.
Even if that's true to real sharks, that doesn't necessarily mean it's a reason Frontier can't or won't ever add Megalodon, one way or another. Especially what this game already can house and what they've been adding that would've once been thought of as "real-life impossible" in some way. I don't think they would any time soon because it doesn't feel like something they will do for this game, but not for the reason you suggested.People, I've realized something a few days ago. Megalodon is related to great whites, right? So, would it not be able to survive in captivity just like them? You know, we have our favorite animals in the world, but not all of them are tolerable in captivity.
If that real life rule applied, most of the species in this game would have trouble in captivity.People, I've realized something a few days ago. Megalodon is related to great whites, right? I think the fact that they are pelagic. They are open ocean fish. They might require a large area to live.If that real life rule applied, most of the species in this game would have trouble in captivity.
No, it's not really closely related to the great white. Not even in the same family. They only share the same superfamily.People, I've realized something a few days ago. Carcharodon? They only share the same superfamily.
Carcharodon carcharias is the great white, yes. Not in the same family as Otodus megalodon.Carcharodon?
Sorry, I thought they were. I got mixed up with some of the reading. No, it's not really closely related to the great white. Not even in the same family. They only share the same superfamily.
The confusion is understandable. Some time ago the species megalodon was placed in the same genus Carcharodon of the great white, since it was thought to be closely related. But now it is understood to be in the genus Otodus.Sorry, I thought they were. I got mixed up with some of the reading.
