Hello, i got a mission who i need to scan a mega ship "BUG 692 Beckett-class Researcher" into bugas system. But i don't found it so this mission are bug or it's logic to not found it?

I used my ACS mod to scan all system and he's not in bugas system. When i put my mouse on local mission target tab in system map: "Unknown information about target".
I give up the mission because time off but ****

No idea what an ACSMod is, and megaships never appear in the system map. Have a think - you'll get it!
ACS mod is the second degre of scan system: you get all information of system: station, planet, radio waves,...
Ah must be like a KI Asp I guess ... well, showed up for me

How you can found mega ship by other way if you can't found it by scan?
Initial FSS scan finds 'em. But sounds like you need someone in your language.
It's a full spectrum scanner? It's ACS (analyse complete systeme) in french language. I did it in bugas system but he doesn't appeared when i used it

Yeah, Nav Panel - from memory it was around B 7. Should show after a honk or a nav beacon scan IIRC
Mission failed because timer off but i did it too and no, he was not into nav panel. So a bug mission or idk. Mission had a threat level 0.

B7 is over 1.5K from entry point so yep you have to DSS scan and then FSS can the planet area if DSS fails..
So many seem to think the missions are bugged.
I don't see that.
These Tankers/ Freighters move around, they have a schedule.
Their Home system or part of it, is always in the name
assume it can only jump 25-35LY, makes a nice small area to look for it in.
If a person does not have expert or above level of exploring then try the basics
upon entering a system, do the usual Honk.
then stop at the nav or use an FSS to scan all perceived items from there.
There are things that still won't show up.
Then you go to within 1,000LS of each body that was past that distance from the nav beacon.
and if you see something anywhere that says unknown and you can't tell what it is, either use the right tool to scan it or get close enough for a basic scan
