Megaships are horrible...

Hi commanders (especially the black sheep ones)

I understand that from a lore perspective, it makes sense that the "uninvited host" of a CG brings a megaship in the system, instead of temporarily occupying a station, but it is just not practical, and clearly a handicap to begin with.

Take the current CG:

- You do space CZ's, but there is no shipyard service, hence you cannot transfer and park your ships there.

- You do ground CZ's, but there is no Frontline service. Even worse, if you go with your own ship, disembark and start fighting...and then the grame crashes, you would respawn at the megaship, without your ship, no way to call it back, and must now book an Apex to fly to the nearest starport, so you can transfer your ship there.

A hassle to whoever decides to join this side... Megaships should have full services, or at least a very limited shipyard like most Detention Centers have.

PS: And I'm not even bringing up the topic of these giant Arissa banners hanging inside Archon's flag ship! Can we at least hack them? ;-)

Megaships supporting each side got added after the new CZ mechanics got introduced... meaning when the CG was hosted out of a station in the system, you could potentially lock yourself out of the station with Hostile rep... but also predated Odyssey.

It mainly existed so that both sides could have somewhere to submit the CG bonds to, and to rearm/refit in-system.

This isn't an issue with megaships in general; there are some around in the bubble that have a full array of services active including shipyard (the Inter Astra desk is accessed via a flight of stairs that leads under the main concourse floor) and Frontline (it's in a little corridor on the left of the upper concourse). It's just an issue with The Mictlan because, well... Delaine's a scrappy pirate trying to take on an entire Empire?

(Visit the EFS Archangel in Shana Bei if you want to see a fully equipped megaship.)

The main station is there top provide those services..

For on-foot conflict zones I took an apex from The Mictlan to Bakewell and joined Frontline there...

Apex and Frontline shuttles using SCO would be a nice touch though...

Too bad taking a shuttle TO the Mictlan doesn't work as far as turning bonds go q_q

Also yes, Apex/Frontline Premium Shuttles please. Make it 10000 creds for a local trip (credits, not ARX plz) so the pilot can actually afford food, it'd be worth every penny.

PS and ACTUAL Dropships for Frontline dropships
