The Jurassic fanbase contains the original population of fans from the JP trilogy, who are mostly now in their early-thirties to mid-forties, and a new population of fans from the JW trilogy, who are mostly now in their preteens to mid-twenties. A group of people spanning four decades is going to have some generational gapping, especially since we have some salty dog Gen-Xers, a core of Millennials, and a recent influx of Zoomers. Each age group has had a different experience with the franchise, has different memories, and is hoping for different things from the franchise in the present. This post is a chance for the old guard (JP) to let the new guard (JW) know what they've been waiting to see in a park builder game for the past thirty years. As someone who first read the novel before the original film was released and have been along for the whole ride, including the dry period from 2002 to 2014, I know what I'd like to see.
