Memorable animals

Has anyone had a particular animal for no reason they got attached to? I had a Thompson's gazelle that I bought that had scars ALL over. I named him Fight Club. I kept him around until he died of old age, and I was kind of sad to see him go lol. I wish there was a way to have an animal memorial for ones that die of old age that have enough stars and/or bronze, silver, gold.

Usually the ones that are born in my zoos and I name them (I only re-name animals that are born within my zoo), as I see them from cubs, through adulthood and then to their last days.

One of my Gorillas that were born in Unity, that I named Mary. And an Orangztan that was also born in Unity. Kiwi.
Really, for no particular reason. It's not that the animals have unique behavior (I still wish they had). It probably just clicked when I named them.
