Mentoring players with multi crew has the same old classic problem :-)

They can't figure out how to talk to you through he comms.

Set myself up for mentoring..

1.. Potential mentee one arrives:

I say hi
Hi
Can you see my text?
You can type back if you press 2 and then go to messages.
Hi?

2 hours later and 4 mentee's down the line...

And none of them have yet managed to say anything back to me. I think the mentee option might need to give the users a bit of help when the mentor speaks to them..

By default I thought Voce was activated for multi-crew. Have you tried talking?

I agree - one of the frustrations when mentoring, and I imagine when being mentored is figuring out the comms panel.

That's interesting, I don't have a mic attached at the moment. I'll plug one in and see, thanks! I guess I need some mentoring myself when it comes to multi-crew

Maybe Frontier should have included communications options in the multicrew training video....to remind people of the text and voice options, but then I suppose that would need people to actually watch the training videos.

last time i used the ingame voicechat i cant even remember.
it didnt have enough options like voiceactivation, and that "spacy" filter needs and off button.
if someone had a bad mic, less options are gonna give you a baaaad time
