Menu option for Ship/Module tranfer time

When ship and module transfer time was implemented a majority of the tiny subset of players participating in the poll voted for them to take quite a while instead of being instant or take only a few seconds/minutes max.

While the former are happy with the current implementation, many players who don't think that waiting is beneficial for their immersion are not.

Therefore I suggest to implement a menu option called "Realistic transfer times" for it...

- Toggle it on and you have to wait just like you do now
- Toggle it off and you receive your stuff instantly

Wouldn't that make everyone happy with very little effort?

No. It was a bad idea back at the time of the poll, it's still a bad idea now.

If you are going to allow instant transfers, then why not instant travel too.
Why have Frame shift drives at all if you can get your warship instantly transported to where ever you want it.
Nope it would break the entire game and scale.

The better suggestion it to add 'send to' transfers so that we can push ships/modules to a destination before we've travelled there. Much of the waiting would then be used up by the commander getting there themselves.
Sadly they didn't have time to implement it when transfers were added, said they hoped to revisit it - so it's a shame this wasn't addressed during the past 12 months of 'core game enhancements'.
