News Mercenary Edition Digital Content Now Available

Hi everyone,

Those who purchased the Mercenary Edition of Elite: Dangerous will find their digital extras are now available under the ‘downloadable products’ section of your account.

Those of you that pledged for the digital Elite: Legacy or the Digital Official Soundtrack should find these in the downloadable products section too.

The art book is still in development and we will update you on its progress as soon as possible.

Hey Edward, are there any plans to put the official soundtrack for sale on the store for those that didn't pledge enough in the Kickstarter?

Edwards, I got all my rewards, thanks, enjoying both Michael's book and OST. But people still waiting for boxed edition. Is there update for that? Thanks for keeping us updated.

The last date given (other than the aborted January and February dates) was the start of March and this was on the Elite Dangerous Twitter feed.

I have multiple versions of some items, e.g. the screensaver. One is marked "standard beta" and the other is "extras". I assume that these are the same thing?

What do you mean 'it's a bit short' The download I have (Elite: Dangerous OST: Digital Copy of Elite: Dangerous Music) is over 2 hrs 20 minutes and is 83 songs... Is there something else for the Merc Edition?

Hi, if you're a beta backer they should be in your account. If they're definitely not there (which I'm not doubting they aren't) then fill out a customer support ticket, and someone will be with you ASAP.

Hi, I backed originally at KS then as a Premium Beta player. Does that give me the Merc edition?

I think that's it. That's all I see in mine too (I'm also a premium beta customer). None of which do much for me and leave me entirely unimpressed.

Not a whinge as such - I'm just indifferent to this lot.

As much as I love playing the game, I have no wish to make either Windows or my phone look and sound like the game. This lot is simply stuff I'll never use ;)

Unexpected when I first bought in - so thank you very much.

Would possibly be interested in an OST/ inspired music fix in the shop later on - just a thought.
