In the pre order mercenary edition of ED, you own an extra ship. Is there a possibility of finding it and selling both ships to fast track yourself to a cobra?

You can sell your Freagle for 40k and keep the free Sidewinder. If you have a different starter ship such as the explorer Cobra instead of a Sidewinder you get nothing for it though as you could sell it, choose a free sidey as a replacement and blow it up to get another Cobra and then repeat.

So I am seeking information on when the Mercenary Edition is released. I have seen a few references to it and he FreeEagle but I don't see it in game, only the Free Sidey launch option (nothing about an Eagle or skins etc).
Do I need to post a ticket then or am I missing something? I even wiped once to see if I was presented with other options.

Your Freagle will be docked at another station. Next time you dock, go to the shipyard, the last tab will show you where it is. Fuel up, cos sometimes they'e a looooong way away.
