I'm sure many of you will instantly recognise where this proposal is stemming from, but I'll explain anyway.
I was watching Chris Roberts award a lucky Gamescom attendee a 8in model of an RSI Constellation on stage during the Star Citizen stage event and I thought to myself "you know what? I'd love to have a Cobra MKIII sitting on my desk..."
Don't worry, I've noticed that, while CIG have gone a little overboard with their merchandising, I understand that Frontier are focusing heavily on proofing the game over anything else.
Bearing that in mind, I feel that small, desk/shelf-sized die cast models of spacecraft, (or maybe even some of the stations!) would go down well with many people. I'd suggest it as a product to be released after the actual game release, so as not to unnecessarily draw manufacturing funds from the game development.
Just a suggestion, what's your thoughts on the matter? Would you sport a sleek Eagle or an Anaconda on your shelf or in your collection? I certainly would...
