I was in the high intensity warzone in Buricasses, fighting for the Empire against Durius in a mostly A-grade Viper. Another commander jumps into the system. I keep one eye on him and another on my current target, which was a NPC Dangerous Viper ranked as Dangerous IIRC. All of a sudden my hud shows that the Commander has turned red for hostile and I become paranoid that the first target he'll go for is me. I leave my NPC target and immediately target this guy, flying in a Cobra. My C2 Beam Lasers tear up his shields and hull with ease, assisted by my C1 Cannons. He was distracted by another target this entire moment and I was surprised he didn't turn for me. I stop shooting at 13% hull to allow his shields to recharge and send him text comm telling him jump out now or I'll finish him off. He complies with this and he left the warzone to repair his ship. I haven't seen him since, although if I saw him again I would shoot to kill. It made me wonder if anyone else is 'chivalrous' to other players? If he had a bounty I might had ended it differently, but he was simply a fellow player fighting in a warzone for his beliefs and I couldn't really condemn that. Would you had finished off this Commander if you were in my shoes?

You are in a war zone fighting on opposing sides. You are in comparable ships. You decide to fire on him and pull back before the kill. You feel you are being chivalrous in doing so, I can see that.

I would not have done the same in this circumstance. If the opposing player was in a lesser ship, I may have done the same or just continued attacking NPC's until the PC became aggressive towards me.
