Hello everybody!
Great update! Love the new exploration scanners. Question though, was scanning at Merope 1B and found 13 signals. 11 was geological, 1 was human and the last one guardian. I've spent 2 hours on flying around the planet but no guardian structures or anything. Do I need to use some other piece of equipment or might there be some invisible structure for later updates as a surprise?

You need the surface scanner to pinpoint where 'stuff' is on the planet. You get near the planet and throw probes at it till 100% mapped and it'll show up in your left hand 'stuff' panel.

Hmmm... It shouldn't be Guardian. There is a bug currently that Thargoid things and other things being erroneously listed as Guardian. However please do check it out. This could be important.

So either there is some guardian site that doesn't show up on Nav bar, the human base is hiding a guardian site or there is a glitch in the game.

After the DSS scan, your nav panel should have a list of all the surface POIs. Select it, drop down on it and check it out.

There's a Guardian signal reported by FSS at Electra 4, but that planet isn't landable so surface scan reveals nothing.

It has been reported elsewhere that crashed ships are showing as Guardian (Bug killer etc). I think it's a bug, personally - but check it out if you can and see whether it's just a ship.

That is awesome! It might be a bug but that is how some of these things should appear especially when it comes to ELWs.

MY tinfoiling senses are buzzing with this potential discovery and its ramifications, ie what it could mean to find something guardian in origin in the pleiades, but sadly I'm more inclined to believe this to be a glitch.

I've just found a system in the bubble with a guardian site listed as on a planet.

On further investigation it also seems to be a listening post nearby, just like OP.

Looks like a bug. Unless it points to something effected by guardian technology or some past guardian meetings between human and guardians, but I doubt it.​

I think it's the listening post being misread as guardian - I had that in Electra

4 Thargoids
14 Geologic
1 Human
1 Guardian...

But... Guardian is not listed on the left panel :-( I think it's a bug...

It might not be a bug. Some special sites don't show up in the nav panel until after you scan a data port on the surface.
