Well Frontier, it's been a blast. You hit your target, you've delivered a great game, and you've left me wanting more.

I downloaded Dragon Age:Inquisition the other day. I adore the DA series. But I haven't touched it because I want to play Elite:Dangerous all the time. See what you've done to me?

Metacritic scores look good, the quality of the community contributions on this forum is pretty good, my own transgressions excepted, and hereby apologised for.

Ignore the impatient, embrace the positive, build the game you want to play, because I believe it's the game I want to play too.

It'll be a phonomenal achievement when it's done.

Enjoy your break, come back refreshed. We'll be riding you pretty hard next year!

Merry Christmas to all! Seeing as I've taken a mandatory vacation (use or lose), I thought it was the perfect time to explore the galaxy, and besides the few obligatory family gatherings this next two weeks, I'll be fleeting hither and fro between the stars.

As a somewhat seasoned commander who's had his share of fwi (flying while intoxicated) incidents, I hope those that come after me will not make the same mistakes. Sometimes that coriolis station seems to be spinning the wrong way........
