So I was finally able to log in to 2.2 tonight and the first thing I saw was this:
A dire message for a critical problem to be sure, but kudos to FD for putting it in a place where every commander would see it. It sucks to have to do it, but it will sure save a lot of people who don't cruise the forums or read the launcher screen some heartache. +1 for effective communication.
Any chance this could be used in the future for non-emergency communications/big announcements? Or would that dilute the purpose, kind of like airing commercials using the Emergency Broadcast System?
