Is it just me or is there a lot of message spam since the update?

I am sick and tired of getting these worthless offers.

Is there any way to block them, its insane......

Turn of notifications in your chat options.

Oh, disregard, I thought you were talking about all the notification spam.

Yes, and even after declining and deleting the message I'm still getting a "Mission Objective" showing up in the nav panel whenever I return to my home system - even though I have no missions!
