Messages (and postcards) from space

Dear mama and papa,
hopefully my ansible won't act up like it did the last time so that you will actually receive my message and images.
After just few days of travel, I have finally ended up in Empire space. Please, mom, do not worry.
I am just a few jumps away from a friendly, independent system.
I just wanted to have a look around here and check out the Imperial spaceships.
Dad, do they look nice! Their design is exotic, but very functional at the same time. Slim shapes and sexy curves...I really dream of putting my hands on one of those, one day.
I am currently in Eurybia system and the first planet I visited here is a terraformed, Earth-like, stunningly beautiful one!
I could not believe my eyes...after all, they all look like pale blue dots from far away!

Earlier in my travels I had encountered a similar, Earth-like planet. I was still close to Federation space.
That system in particular was an Independent/Alliance one, called Alpha Caeli, if I remember correctly

Here are two more images of stars I have seen: a very large class B (I believe) and a class G, showing some stunning flares and prominences.

The orange Eagle uncle Dave has given me is really proving herself worthy: I have upgraded her with few bits and bobs after leaving my loyal Sidey in a small hanger on Harrenius Hub. Nothing too expensive so far, as I am saving the hard earned money I have managed to make selling the exploration data to Universal Cartographics to upgrade the power plant. The fuel scoop was a nice addition, though, as it allows me to travel longer distances without worrying too much of being in an unsettled system.

As i write this message, a team of robo-engineers are mounting a brand new D-3 Frame Shift Drive in the small housing of the Eagle: I am excited by the idea of covering longer distances in fewer jumps!

Mom and dad, I miss you very much. I look forward to receiving a message back from you soon.
Please, keep an eye on my droids for me!

Yours,

Jorge
