Messier 13 or M13 cluster not in the game

Cant have every thing ☺️

Hi prob a daft question
but 25,000 Light years out towards Vega which is 185.42LY. I cant find this system.
M13 or Messier 13

Its has 100,000 stars orbiting in that direction so must be in our solar system. Nor can find Hercules, Lyra, cygnus,

A well prob not in our milky way or game.

:) have a good one CMDRs o7

M13 is a very large cluster of stars, it is not part of the Milky Way per se. It resides outside the Milky Way, orbiting it, so I wouldn't expect it to be simulated. I think the only object outside the Milky Way visible in ED is the Andromeda galaxy, although I can't confirm that's what we see in so many ED images.

I did some checking and yes, you can see the Andromeda galaxy from within ED, along with 4 other visible galaxies.

Not checked the others, but Cygnus is certainly there. Assuming you mean Cygnus X-1 (the black hole) rather than the constellation (which is a 2-d projection from the pov of a person standing on Earth). Visit V1357 Cygni (iirc), you'll find a supergiant with a cute lil black hole orbiting it. No accretion disc though.

Thanks for your replies I wasn't sure it was part of our galaxy.
Plenty of star systems to visit.
I am saving up to buy a good telescope to look at our night sky. o7
