Just a quickie. What are meta-alloys exactly, can you buy them and if so where from?

They grow on "Barnacles" a kind of alien life and you either harvest (shoot) them directly from the Barnacles or pick them up in Maia.

alternatively only darnielles progress, a surface station in maia, sells them in low quantities.
