Meta Question: How to Stop a Faction from moving into my System

So, I have got a couple Green systems that I support. And a nearby system's faction (that I don't support) is starting to post BB missions in my Friendly system. Like they are trying to move in on my local system's controlling faction.

How do I stop them?

I've started to take their delivery missions, and dump their cargo in space and pay the small fine.

Will this cause a negative effect on them? I hope so

Or is my only hope to go their system and start supporting the other factions in their system against them?

I'm not sure failing missions does anything other than hurt your reputation with the faction.
You could try to take their missions then go in USS until you get an alternative objective, but it's a laborious process.
You're probably better off trying to boost the other factions.

It all depends on how much trade the other faction has. If it has multiple players supporting its home system, you are just out of luck unless you can get some friends to help you out.
