Metricanthosaurus won't unlock

I've done the science mission on Isla tacano but the research won't unlock, I need it to progress on Isla Pena and I don't know what to do??

You unlock Metriacanthosaurus with the Security mission in Isla Tacaño. In the science mission you unlock Nodosaurus, not Metriacanthosaurus.

Just go to contracts and terminate the one that pertains to that dino. Or if it involves an actual mission you need to create one for.... Check to make sure you have a research center, fossil center, and expedition center on all of your islands you have unlocked. Some research requires you have those buildings active on all of your islands for them to unlock.
