The Metro Redux Bundle is currently only £6 on Xbox. On the advice of a good friend, I purchased the games today.

Wow.

That's all I can say.

Metro is a work of art.

And yes, I'll be buying the books.

Metro and Last Light were decent games for sure, but they pale in comparison to the original trilogy S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games imho. I love 'em all! I even made an 1911 mod with photos from my own gun for the originals, lol my finest nerd moment ever!

Did they ever release the proper English translations they promised to do? The google-translate English last time I read it was extremely tough to fight through!

I don't know. I actually prefer playing it in Russian. The subtitles are good enough for me.

Maybe I need to go take another look now I have a GTX 770.

Playing XCOM 2 now, and Xenonauts.
Then probably Dying Light.

Yeah I meant the book. When the game first came out, someone google translated it and put it out for anyone to read. I suspect it lost a lot in the process.

Yep the first game was a real rough diamond. Second improved on a few things, hoping the trend continues and thus new game is excellent. Think they are going to semi open world with it. Could be amazing but they need to optimise that engine and have it right on release.
