MFG Crosswind rudder pedals. Worth it?

I’m using Saitek pro flight pedals.
Iv‘e been checking out the crosswinds. They seem to be beautifully engineered, sturdy and smooth.
Anyone using these babies?
Are they worth the price?

I'm an IRL pilot and using pedals in this game felt so weird I returned them.
I get that you can train your body to work with anything but... how the hell do you comfortabley aim fixed weaponry properly with pedals?

I had the Saitek "Pro" pedals. Actually still have them in a cupboard somewhere... But since 2017, I've rocked a pair of original v1 MFG Crosswinds. I know it's a cliché but the difference was like night and day.

Suddenly the pedals were actually useful for something other than just a footrest. The level of control you have while using them is head and shoulders above the Saiteks which were basically a joke.

I use them for roll and use my right-hand joystick for pitch and yaw. Awesome for sniping with fixed weapons at a distance.

I also use them to steer the SRV while the right joystick steers the turret and the left joystick handles pitch and roll duty when "flyving."

Took me a couple of weeks to retrain my body from yaw on the pedals to yaw on the flight stick, but now it's second nature and I couldn't ever imagine going back.

p.s. As for value, that's a personal call, but I have had zero regrets. I aways say, "if you're going to buy something, make sure you only have to buy it once."
i.e. Buy the best you can afford so that you don't end up wasting money on crap (like I wasted money on the Saiteks back when I first started gaming).

My pedals (VKB) are used for rudder control in flight sims and for yaw in ED. That way I don't get too screwed up switching back and forth between. :)

I have them and they are the best pedals I've ever used...
well worth the money..

They arrived today.
Now that is what I call a set of rudder pedals!
They are sooo smooth, silent, beautifully built, and deadly accurate. 😀
