MGGA - Trailer for New Elite Series

I guess that's what I get - I assumed you knew my reference.

References aside, the Thargoids ARE a real problem.

Pictured below, they are attempting an unauthorized scan of our CMDR in Chief shortly after hopping a border at Merope.

Needless to say, they have been dealt with swiftly and appropriately.

Do we really want to allow these illegal aliens near our space homes, space women and space children? I do not think so.

The least we can do is to aid our brave President in eradicating this menace. We are already doing our part - are you?
The public is being misled by the failing Galnet News--all they can muster from their putrid fingertips are news about stolen ships, which, in the face of a Thargoid onslaught, is frankly laughable.

Do not be fooled--the battle for a safe space is only just beginning.

Fly bigly, CMDRs!

Yeah what everyone thinks is German national anthem

As we all know, all Germans disappeared shortly after the hyperdrive was invented, leaving behind only a cryptic note about "searching the stars" for some sort of "living room". Linguists and ethnologists speculate a possible mistranslation, xenologists think there's a firm connection to the Thargoids (much like their breakfast, that weird guy from one planet over, or pretty much the last thing they saw on their holo-tv last night), others claim it's a Raxxla clue FOR SURE YOU GUYS

It's all in the Codex. Look it up.

Relax, it's just satire and a bit of good fun. No need to get your futuristic pants in a twist.

Believe it or not, some of the folks behind this - admittedly somewhat idiotic - endeavor are dealing with living in a far, far worse situation, both politically and economically than what's currently going on in the US. Having a laugh at the expense of El Caudillo del Mar-a-Lago is a neat little diversion. The jokes basically write themselves, at the very least.

No, migrant children have died as a direct result of this guys policies. It's really not funny.

A. Dead baby jokes, anyone?
B. Is it just Trump jokes that you find offensive? Did the London Baby Trump Blimp leave you shaken? Does Saturday Night Live disgust you? Would you be ok with jokes about Kim Jong Un, then? Or do you only find jokes about airplane food and rainbow unicorns socially acceptable?

Or did the absurd tone of this whole thing just fly right over your head and you somehow think we're defending/idolizing Trump?

Y'know, I'm currently living in a certain EU country that punishes political satire with 3-year prison terms, and making fun of religion with 5. Recently, a woman got herself arrested for just that. And yet, people somehow deal with it - with humor. Try it, it's fuuuun!

The Ministry of Real News has recently ascertained that taking things less seriously can drastically reduce the risk of stress, anxiety, or making yourself look like a total buffoon.
It also helps with the new, wide-spread virus called the S.J.W.

In other words, the Ministry highly recommends removing the space stick from your space rectum. Not only does it yield all of the aforementioned benefits, it makes sitting down much, much more comfortable.

Fly safely, Commanders.

It's fun to use humor as a way to cope with a stressful situation you're faced with, yes. It's less fun when you've finally managed to temporarily not be looking at that stress, but then the stressful situation pokes it's nose into your escapism, reminding you of the stressful reality in your relaxation time.

If you guys want to mock the current US President, more power to ya. But you need to also expect an unamused reaction from those who dislike having to deal with the reality and brutality of it on a day-to-day basis. It's not fun then, for them - it's just a reminder.

I know for myself, I love the idea of an episodic Elite series, and I would love to watch. But if that's going to be the premise, I'm out. It's not fun for me. It just reminds me of all the lives being ruined. The reality of all of it is too immediate to be humorous to me when it's brought in out of context like that. (It's different if the context is already US politics, and a joke is make, for sure)

Still wish you guys all the best in your effort, though. But I think this sort of reaction is entirely valid.

Basically you couldn't resist the urge to preach, got it.
