Wondering if any aircraft buffs can answer this ...

Would it be possible to pre-program (schedule) critical events in a B777?

Can such a plane lock out or bypass pilot intervention?

They announced that the plane crashed into the Indian Ocean. And that is probably a hijacking. But what is the purpose of this hijacking ? Why no claims ? Is it really a hijacking ? Mystery

There's a conspiracy theory it was remotely steered into the ocean, but I wouldn't know...
I don't believe there's no some kind of manual override for crucial systems...

This is one event I was REALLY hoping ended well. Just too much bad new out there right now. I think we all needed something to end with some good news.

There's plenty of good news out there, it's just that sometimes they get overshadowed by bad ones, because bad ones sell the newspapers, while everyone takes good ones for granted.
